We are excited to announce the latest updates to our JoomSport for WordPress plugin!

What's new?

• Main upgrade. We have made the significant improvements to enhance PERFORMANCE across the various views and operations. This release also makes some changes to the stats database structure. This is the most important modification of the new version.

We have also added other three key features:

• "Next match" column for standings.
• Season ranking upgrade: Head-to-head items within the ranking factors selector now available
• The ability to select seasons from a dropdown on the season page is introduced

Other minor features include:

• Now it is possible to add flags in your live scores shortcode
• Team moderators can upload photos for their teams 
• The updated icons for substitutes and played matches on player level

Additionally, we have made a lot of other small changes such as reordering leagues in screen options, adding live status for the vertical view in the matches shortcode, and ensuring unique default slugs for matchdays. We have also improved how matches are searched for on the calendar page.

Bug fixes list includes resolving issues with the favorite icon in the live scores shortcode and ensuring permalinks are saved after plugin installation to prevent 404 errors in some cases.

These updates aim to improve user experience and functionality within our software. We hope you enjoy the new features and enhancements!

It's been a while since we posted something new about JoomSport for WordPress and we are happy to share the latest changes with you.

Significant performance improvement for all major pages

JoomSport community is growing everyday and customers with really huge database started to use our software. That is really good news! Unfortunately previously such websites faced speed problems on stats pages because of the initial WordPress structure and JoomSport tables. In version 3.2 we have greatly improved performance on all Standings views, including widgets and shortcodes, on Team and Match result page. Now even in case of any inflow of website visitors JoomSport pages will perform without timeouts.

Minor improvements:
* Player stats widget added to standard edition
* SEO improvements
* Styling improvements
* Mobile styles improved
* Ability to edit Season assigned Extra fields for Player in Single competition

Bugfixes:

* Delete matchday action will recount tables now
* Knockout 7 and 77 score issue (Pro)
* Team overview - all matches are Away
* Moderator without team can edit any match (Pro)
* Using the selectors to enter a zero score messes the fixture up
* Search on Calendar is not working for Mobiles
* Matches order incorrect on Calendar once generated by Match gen (Pro)
* Remove Team column from Player stats page for singles
